Telehealth Available for All Students
As a supplement to our Student Health Center and Counseling Services, Austin College students now have access to an extensive online program featuring 24/7 on-demand counseling, urgent medical care, therapy, and psychiatry all at no cost to the student. Whether you want to make a quick visit between classes, after dinner, or while traveling home on vacation, all students can obtain on-demand virtual visits with a mental health professional on their smartphone, tablet, or computer. Services are provided by Academic LiveCare. Use ALC as the Service Key. When prompted for payment use the Coupon Code ALCROOS to waive payment.
Medical Treatment
If you find yourself not feeling well, for whatever reason, please contact your doctor’s office for advice and assistance. Many insurance providers offer tele-med and tele-counseling services, so you don’t even have to leave home for treatment.
If you have the “Academic Health Plans” student insurance, you have access to a 24/7 remote support by calling 1.855.850.4301
If you have other private health insurance, you can call the number on the back of your card to find out what they offer.

A note from Health Services ...
Our primary client is you, the Austin College student. It is not our intention to replace your primary physician but to serve as a substitute at times when you may become ill. We want to help you understand some of those hazards, how to prevent them, and, when necessary, how to treat and care for yourself. Health Services will strive to foster relationships, which will contribute to an atmosphere of mutual respect and assist students in your personal growth and wellness. We want you to have a healthy and productive career at Austin College. Good health is important to ensure that success. We look forward to getting to know each of you!
